What Commit collects

We collect basic first-party website measurements: an anonymous session identifier, the pages visited, the referring website’s domain and timestamps. If you join the Commit waitlist, we also collect the email address you submit, your subscription status and information about the delivery and engagement of waitlist emails.

Why we use it

Website measurements help us understand whether the explanation is clear and which parts people actually visit. We use waitlist information, with your consent, to send news about Commit’s launch, availability and occasional product updates.

Waitlist and Kit

We use Kit, operated by ConvertKit LLC, to store waitlist details and send email on our behalf. Submitting the waitlist form adds you to the list immediately. Kit and the infrastructure used to deliver and protect the service may also process technical request information such as an IP address and browser information. Kit is based in the United States and describes its international transfer safeguards in its Data Processing Addendum.

Kit may record whether an email was delivered, opened or a link was clicked. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending marketing emails and may retain a minimal suppression record so that we continue to respect your choice.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information while it remains relevant to Commit’s launch and product updates, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We periodically review and remove information we no longer need.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Standard hosting infrastructure may still process technical request information to operate and secure the site.

Your choices

Browsers with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control enabled are excluded from our first-party page measurements. You can withdraw your waitlist consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email. You can also ask to access, correct or delete your information by contacting us.
