WHY I’M BUILDING COMMIT

I wanted my
time back.

Darius Moss, founder of Commit
Darius MossFounder, Commit

“I was spending around ten hours a day on my phone. I’d set screen-time limits, then find a way around them.”

After university, I started building Commit: a physical card that puts a little distance between me and the apps I keep opening.

The card and app are still in development. I’m building something I want to use myself, and sharing the process as I go.

A FEW PRACTICAL THINGS

Good questions.

Ask us something else
Is Commit available yet?

Not yet. The card and app are in development. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when they’re ready.

Will it work with my phone?

We’re building Commit for iPhone. We’ll share full compatibility details before launch.

Can I still use the apps I need?

You choose which apps to block, so you can leave useful apps accessible during your focus sessions.

What if I need access without my card?

We’re building in emergency exits so you can unblock your apps without the card when you need to. The current plan allows up to four uses.

Does the card need charging?

No. The Commit Card works without a battery or charging cable.
